Your first stop will be the iconic Train Cemetery, where abandoned locomotives and wagons tell the story of Uyuni’s once-thriving railway era. The rusted remains create a nostalgic and highly photogenic atmosphere.
You will then travel to the spectacular Valley of the Rocks, an impressive area featuring extraordinary rock formations that rise dramatically from a moon-like landscape.
The journey continues to Laguna Turquiri, a stunning high-altitude lake set among arid mountains. From its viewpoint, you will admire emerald-colored waters surrounded by sparse vegetation and wildlife such as flamingos and other migratory birds.
In the early afternoon, you will stop at the Ollagüe Volcano viewpoint, overlooking this active volcano located on the border between Bolivia and Chile. From here, you may observe volcanic fumaroles and enjoy wide views of the surrounding Andean mountains.
Later, you will visit Laguna Cañapa and Laguna Hedionda, beautiful saltwater lakes known for their vibrant colors and abundant birdlife, including Andean flamingos — perfect for wildlife observation and photography.
Before heading back, you will explore the remote landscapes of Ch’iar Quta, where you may spot local fauna in a pristine and untouched environment.
